About Modern Auto Air

Located at 3146 Davis Blvd B, Naples, FL 34104, Modern Auto Air operates as an auto repair shop serving Naples in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Naples, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Florida vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (239) 775-4400. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, modernautoair.com.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 137 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded auto repair shops in Naples.

Naples is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Naples is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My 10+ year old Acura with 105,000 miles had difficulty cooling the passenger areas. After talking with friends and google reviews I decided on Modern Auto Air. After diagnostics, it was determined the condenser needed replacement. Two days later the AC works like new. Best of all we received 12 months or 12,000 miles warranty, with free check up at 11 months.

I live on the west coast of the US, my mother lives in Naples. She took her car to the local dealership about the AC not being cold and the local dealer estimated the repair at almost $4,000 initially. She called me in a panic as she is a fixed income senior citizen and her car is probably only worth 7 or 8 thousand on a good day. I called the dealer to talk to them… if they warranty costed the parts the guy said they could get it down to $3450. I called Modern Auto Air, explained the situation and the repair needed, and they came back at $1,950. The key difference is the shop rate….the dealer wanted $250/hr! End result was Modern Auto Air got the job, fixed my mother’s car for the quoted amount, and mom now has a car keeping her cool as before. DONT GO TO THE DEALER, take your car here to get the AC fixed, it’s worth it!

What a great auto A/C expert business 💯 and I cannot recommend them more highly. As someone that owns a collectible car that isn't always able to fix it myself, it's important to trust someone else working on the car. I have known about Modern Auto Air since they started in 1991 and advertised all the time. I never needed to use their service until now. Their other reviews made me comfortable reaching out about my car. Tonya was so great on the phone that I immediately felt comfortable with bringing them my car. I dropped it off at the end of their work day so that would be available and cooled down for repair first thing the next day. Before 12noon the next day it was ready and repaired. I was happy with the price and very happy with the experience. I highly recommend that you bring your car to the auto A/C experts at Modern Auto Air, tell Tonya you heard about them from my review 🌞😎
